3 Easy Payments is a dramatic comedy about Kyle Bailey, who, after being dumped by his girlfriend Anna, subscribes to a mysterious and questionable program designed to help him test the strength of their relationship. After receiving his box of goodies, hilarity ensues as Kyle tries to use the items to win Anna back. Kyle and his brother, Jack, a career ice cream man in his mid-20s, work together to help Kyle come to terms with Anna, while bonding with their doting mother, competing over a newly single girl, and avoiding a strange, thin man named Vern. Other characters include Mrs. Johanson, Dr. Glouv, Jack’s co-worker Brad, and Grandpa Bailey.

Reel Buckeye introduced its screenplay competition to Columbus, Ohio in October 2005 in search of the perfect script for this year’s film project. After reading and discussing over thirty scripts, Reel Buckeye Productions held a press conference to announce the winner on February 27th. With the three finalists present, Scott Sutton, a Pre-Med student at OSU, was declared the winner.

Reel Buckeye Productions wrapped shooting 3 Easy Payments this summer and was busy in post-production with editing and music composition this fall.
